Elvis died while preparing to go on another concert tour. That was 25 years ago. For many of his current fans, the only way we'll ever see Elvis in concert is on video.

But luckily for us, many of his concerts have been documented.

And those jumpsuits have been dutifully described and catalogued on many websites, links below!
Were you one of the lucky ones who did get to see Elvis in concert? Email the highlights and we'll put it up on the site for others to enjoy!
Here's a story from Leslie, a 33 years old fan who lives in Whiteland Indiana:

I am so thankful to my father who took me to see Elvis in concert in Indianapolis Indiana at Market Square Arena on June 26, 1977. I was almost 7 years old. Less than 2 months later Elvis was dead and the concert I saw went down in history as being the last concert he ever performed. I remember so many things about that night. Which is amazing considering I was so young. But who could forget an Elvis concert?

I remember the banana flavored lip gloss I carried in my small purse and holding my dads hand as we crossed the street with the excited crowd. I remember the comedian who opened the show. And I remember not understanding any of his jokes. I was too young and too excited to see Elvis to really listen to the comedian anyway. I remember my heart beating so fast as the band played the theme from Space Odyssey and Elvis made his grand entrance. I don't think I took my eyes off of him for the entire performance. It was hard not to be a huge fan of Elvis even at the age of 6. My parents played his music constantly.

When the concert was over, my dad and I exited the arena and headed for our car. On the back side of Market Square Arena there was a ramp that went from the 3rd floor to the street. As my dad and I started to cross New Jersey Street, we heard all these screaming women. Suddenly we saw a black limousine fly down the ramp heading toward the street.

My dad pulled me back onto the sidewalk. As the limo flew by us we noticed the tinted window in the back was halfway down. And Elvis was looking out the window right at us!!! I just remember saying "DAD, THERE'S ELVIS!!!" And as the limo continued down the street, women were still running down the ramp and screaming! It was so exciting. I could not wait to get home and tell my mother what had happened. She decided to stay home with my baby brother so I could go with my dad. I appreciate her sacrifice because I consider my experience at Elvis' last concert to be a priceless memory. I still have my program from the concert. Its probably worth some money but I will never part with it.

And a great story from Toni:

I am a true Elvis fan, even though my family thinks I am nuts.......but when I was ten years old, I sat on the 3rd row from the stage, center aisle. It was Sept. 1976, at the convention center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was right there.....a little girls dream. A friend put me on his shoulders, and Elvis reached down, touched my cheek, and gave me a scarf, I went nuts.............I still have the ticket stubs, and my scarf along with many other pieces of actual Elvis memorabilia. Today, I own a business, a sandwich, soda and specialty cake shop, and it is decorated with old timey stuff including my Elvis things, my 11 year old daughter's room is 50's to the hilt, along with more of my Elvis things, it is great! All of her friends admire it. I took ten rolls of 110 film at that concert sitting right beneath him as my sister also took that many. Back then you know you had to send film off.........someone stole all of our pictures before we even got to look at them. I feel sure today that some of the posters I see are some of those same pictures. I hope whoever took them has enjoyed the royalties that I am sure they made, being that they broke a child's heart over money. Anyway, I have the memory........Elvis was great!
And this newspaper article from Texas shares the lifetime memory of missing Elvis: 12/08/2004 Conroe memories By: C. Crane In the summer of 1955 Elvis Presley came to town. I remember because I was in Hunt Texas at summer camp. When That's All Right Little Mama had been released in 1954, I had a small, portable 45rpm record player. I played the record for a year -continuously. Well, almost. When I returned to Conroe and saw Barbara Dampier's picture of her, with Elvis Presley, I cried. Elvis changed America, thus changed Conroe. The performance of Elvis Presley at Conroe High's football stadium made that location legendary. And I had missed it.
