Praised in The Rough Guide to Elvis, 25th Anniversary Edition: "Fetchingly decked out in one of El's favourite colors, pink, this is an essential gateway site, even if you're not a girl."
Although now a book, THE GIRLS' GUIDE TO ELVIS began life as a website, which launched on June 5, 2000. On this date in 1956, Elvis performed his fabulous "bump and grind" version of HOUND DOG on the MILTON BERLE SHOW. Rather than his death or birth, it is this event that THE GIRLS' GUIDE TO ELVIS celebrates.
